About Your GL Card
No, the GL Card is completely free!
The GL Card is run by Marketing Gloucester and Gloucestershire Live. It is free to join, and can be used in the city centre. You will get discount vouchers from Touchpoints which can be used at local businesses. As a cardholder you will also receive exclusive notifications of local events, time-limited offers and special prize draws.
Just pick up a free card from the Tourist Information Centre in Southgate Street from Saturday 25th March. To activate your card you simply need to register online at https://glcard.co.uk/register.
Yes, in fact there is no need for a card if you have a smartphone! Simply visit https://glcard.co.uk/register on your mobile, register for a Rewarding Visits account and you will get a unique Code ID to scan at a Touchpoint, just like a GL Card. The mobile-enabled website lists all the latest offers available as Vouchers at the Touchpoint.
Your GL Card, the Touchpoints, the website and app are all powered by Rewarding Visits. You will need a free Rewarding Visits account to activate your GL Card or mobile phone and use a Touchpoint.
You can use your registered GL Card or mobile account wherever you find a Touchpoint in town.
Don’t worry. You can add a new card to your account at any time, or add your mobile phone too. Simply visit My Account, log in and select Add a Card.
Your GL Card and the local Touchpoints are all powered by Rewarding Visits. Registration means we can show you the most local and relevant offers. Some offers are available on a 'one-per-customer' basis, some are earned for repeated visits and some are available when it’s your birthday!
The email is automatically sent, the moment you register. All you need to do is click the link in either email to activate your account and then set a password. It is worth checking your spam or junk folders as occasionally such emails can end up there. If you have no luck just email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and card number and we will activate it manually for you.
You can leave at any time. To unsubscribe from marketing emails, just click the 'unsubscribe' link in the footer of every email. Please be aware this means you will then miss out on being notified about the latest deals and offers in your area.

Touchpoints and Vouchers
There are eight Touchpoints in Gloucester, the most centrally located Touchpoints are sited in The Eastgate Shopping Centre, Kings Walk Shopping Centre, Wetherspoons - The Regal and The Tourist Information Office. Other Touchpoints are located around the City such as The College, GL1 Leisure Centre and Oxstalls University Campus.
A Touchpoint is a self-service kiosk that shows local offers and allows you to print Vouchers whilst you are in town. Simply scan your card, or mobile phone code, at the scanner window to reveal the hottest offers in town. Select by category: such as Eating and Drinking, or Shopping, and view individual vouchers before printing the ones you fancy. Then just take the vouchers along to your chosen stores or restaurants, and enjoy your deals!
There are over seventy local places with offers for shopping, eating out, fast food, beauty treatments and going out. Offers come and go all the time, so it pays to keep checking each time you visit town at a Touchpoint or visit https://glcard.co.uk to see the latest offers from participating places.
Just scan the code on your Card or Mobile at the scanner window on your local Touchpoint to find the offers near you. When you see a deal you want, just touch it to print a Voucher.
Every offer is unique! The voucher’s expiry date along with any special terms or restrictions on availability is printed on every Voucher. You can read each voucher on the screen before choosing whether to print it. You can keep coming back on other days, and print more vouchers again and again, if they are still available.
Each offer voucher is restricted to one cardholder per day, so if you have already printed it once, it will not print again on any Touchpoint until the following day.
In most cases yes, but only on the following day, if the offer is still available. Simply visit any Touchpoint and print another voucher as normal. Special offers limited to one-per cardholder, however cannot be reprinted.
